Pokemon Crystal version is a generation II of Pokemon game series developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Color.

The game is an update version of Pokemon Gold and Silver Version  almost the same plot with some new features, It's first released in Japan in December 2000, and in the US and Europe in 2001.

Pokemon Crystal was remade as Pokemon HeartGold and Pokemon SoulSilver for Nintendo DS in 2009,

 ( Because it's almost the same game as Pokemon Gold and Silver Version ) , when Pokemon Crystal version was released most of the series fans was unpleased with the Crystal version, because it's no different from the previous two versions ( Pokemon gold & silver ), but the sales were shockingly high from expected.

The new features added to Pokemon Crystal Version:

1-    You can play as a female as a main character.

2-    Pokemon's have animated moves when it enters a battle, This feature was absent in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire and Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen, but has appeared in all subsequent games.

3-    Battle Tower, a new building which allows players to practice and Fight each other.

Pokemon Crystal for android story:

You began in your room, when you get down, your mom told you to go to professor ELM who will give you one of the three starter Pokemon (Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile).

 After choosing one of these rare Pokemon, he will send you to Mr. Pokemon, when you arrived there, you will meet professor Oak, who will give you the Pokedex.

After getting out of Mr. Pokemon's home, you will receive a call telling you to come back fast, when you are on your way, you will meet your rival, who stole the other Pokemon from the lab, he will  challenge you to a fight.

After beating him, you will begin your way to win the 8 Johto region badges by defeating the GYM's leaders (there are 8 of them):

1- Violet City Gym Leader: Falkner                   Specialty: Flying.

2- Azalea Town Gym Leader: Bugsy                 Specialty: Bug.

3- Goldenrod City Gym Leader: Whitney          Specialty: Normal.

4- Ecruteak City Gym Leader: Morty                 Specialty: Ghost.

5- Cianwood City Gym Leader: Chuck              Specialty: Fighting.

6- Olivine City Gym Leader: Jasmine                Specialty: Steel.

7- Mahogany Town Gym Leader: Pryce            Specialty: Ice.

8- Blackthorn City Gym Leader: Clair              Specialty: Dragon.

 After you collect the 8 badges go to the Pokemon league to challenge the Elite Four on Indigo Plateau:

1- Elite Four: Will                            Specialty: Psychic.

2- Elite Four: Koga                          Specialty: Bug & Poison.

3- Elite Four: Bruno                         Specialty: Rock and Fighting.

4- Elite Four: Karen                         Specialty: Dark and Poison.      

To fight the champion:

Champion: Lance                           Specialty: Dragon and Flying.

 

After being the Pokemon champion. You can travel to Kanto region and challenge the Gym leaders there, after defeating the Gym leaders of Kanto Region you will be allowed to enter the Mt. Silver area, home of very powerful Pokemon.
