1-    Time system: certain events are done in different time including catching Pokemon, certain pokemons are only appearing at night or day so you need to know every Pokemon appearing time to complete the pokedex.

2-    New items: like berry which comes in varieties and can restore health or cure status effects.

3-    Specialized Poke Balls: make the catch rate more easier in certain circumstances.

4-    Pokegear: which have a variety of useful functions Like a watch, map, radio, and phone. Allowing you to know the exact place of rare Pokemon's.

5-     New legendary Pokemon: Raikou, Entei, and Suicune.

6-    Shiny Pokemon: very rare appearing Pokemon with different color.

7-    Two new Pokemon types: Steal type which has very high defense and resistance to other types, and Dark type which is immune to Psychic-type moves.

8-    Move deleter:a NPC who can delete any move your Pokemon have, including TMs moves and HMs moves.

9-    Pokemon breeding: you can put two types of Pokemon (male and female ) who share the same breeding group in the daycare to have a younger Pokemon.

Pokemon Gold and Silver for android story:

You began in your room, when you get down, your mom will tell you to go to professor ELM who will give you one of the three starter Pokemon (Grass-type Chikorita, Fire-type Cyndaquil, and Water-type Totodile).

 After choosing one of these rare Pokemon he will send you to Mr. Pokemon, when you arrived there you will meet professor Oak who will give you the Pokedex.

After getting out of Mr. Pokemon's home you will receive a call telling you to come back fast, when you are on your way, you will meet your rival who stole the other Pokemon from the lab, when he will see you he will fight you.

After battling him you will begin your way to win the 8 Johto region badges by defeating the GYM's leaders (there are 8 of them):

1- Violet City Gym Leader: Falkner              Specialty: Flying.

2- Azalea Town Gym Leader: Bugsy            Specialty: Bug.

3- Goldenrod City Gym Leader: Whitney     Specialty: Normal.

4- Ecruteak City Gym Leader: Morty            Specialty: Ghost.

5- Cianwood City Gym Leader: Chuck         Specialty: Fighting.

6- Olivine City Gym Leader: Jasmine           Specialty: Steel.

7- Mahogany Town Gym Leader: Pryce        Specialty: Ice.

8- Blackthorn City Gym Leader: Clair           Specialty: Dragon.

 After you collect the 8 badges go to the Pokemon league to challenge the Elite Four on Indigo Plateau:

1- Elite Four: Will                          Specialty: Psychic.

2- Elite Four: Koga                        Specialty: Bug & Poison.

3- Elite Four: Bruno                       Specialty: Rock and Fighting.

4- Elite Four: Karen                       Specialty: Dark and Poison.      

To fight the champion:

Champion: Lance                           Specialty: Dragon and Flying.

  

After being the Pokemon champion. You can travel to Kanto region and challenge the Gym leaders there, after defeating the Gym leaders of Kanto Region you will be allowed to enter the Mt. Silver area, home to very powerful Pokemon.
